SEDPI is a premiere capacity building institution providing training, research and consulting services in the areas of microfinance, social entrepreneurship and financial literacy in the Philippines. It is composed of young and dynamic social entrepreneurs from prestigious universities.<\/p>\n

Established in 2004, SEDPI worked in 27 countries worldwide reaching approximately 3,000 development organizations. It is a partner of the Ateneo de Manila University for Microfinance Capacity Building. SEDPI is also one of the finalists of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2012 and received Special Recognition from PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 2015.<\/p>\n

SEDPI Development Finance, Inc. (SDFI), the financing arm of SEDPI, mobilizes social investments by lending to microfinance institutions and small and medium enterprises.<\/p>\n

The organization is currently expanding and is looking for\u00a0a\u00a0Finance Officer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The main objective of the position is to maintain and improve the accounting system of SDFI. Specifically, the Finance Officer shall maintain schedules and book of accounts of SDFI, generate monthly financial reports such as balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and portfolio at risk reports.<\/p>\n

The finance officer will also ensure compliance to all government and government agencies\u2019 rules and regulation specifically reportorial requirements for lending\/financing companies, prepare correspondence, maintain an orderly filing system for each client accounts, prepare billing statements for clients and ensure the receipt of account receivables, prepare payments for accounts payable, provide support to external auditors, and perform other related tasks\/functions as may be assigned by the President and Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n
