These are often unregistered, operated by women, and driven by necessity rather than opportunity. These entrepreneurs, often overlooked and unregistered, operate on necessity, not opportunity. SEDPI\u2019s work shed light on their adaptive strategies, showing that savings, community-based insurance, and non-credit-based interventions offer more sustainable solutions than conventional loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Rapisura emphasized the value of indigenous financial mechanisms like <em>Damayan<\/em> and SEDPI\u2019s own <em>KaTambayayong<\/em> program, which delivers faster and more relevant support than traditional insurance products.
