\"Screen<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dean Antonio La Vi\u00f1a<\/strong> has been the Dean of the Ateneo de Manila University\u2019s School of Government since 2006. Prior to this, he worked for 8 years at the Washington DC-based World Resources Institute (WRI). His earlier experience includes serving as Undersecretary for the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) of the Philippines and co-founding the Legal Resources Center-Kasama sa Kalikasan. Tony is also a lead negotiator for the Philippines in the ongoing Copenhagen climate change talks and chairs the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation negotiations. Tony holds a BS in Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University, a law degree from the University of the Philippines and obtained his Masters and Doctorate in Law from Yale Law School. He placed third in the 1989 Philippine bar exams.<\/p>\n
