Joint Venture Savings (JVS)
What are joint venture savings?
Sir Vince Rapisura established SEDPI Group of Social Enterprises in 2004. It provides opportunities for social investments through joint ventures. Joint venture savings (JVS) ang tawag dito. Tinawag din itong Socially responsible investment (SRI) dati.
JVS is also known as impact investing where investments are made to companies, organizations and funds with the intention to generate a measurable, beneficial social or environmental impact alongside a financial return. The proceeds are used to invest in a well-selected portfolio of debt and equity securities through joint ventures; mostly to microfinance institutions and social enterprises operating in the Philippines, as well as small scale real estate projects. This is designed to accommodate small social investors seeking capital appreciation and positive social impact.
SEDPI SRI is for investors who would like to build and preserve their savings and want a positive social impact.
SEDPI SRI features:
- Higher Returns – compared to time deposit of commercial banks and government treasury bills
- Invested in Strong Institutions in the Philippines – mainly in microfinance institutions and social enterprises
- Professionally Managed – extensive appraisal and reports
- Profit and loss sharing scheme – joint venture that shares in the risks and profits of project investments

How do I remit Pag-IBIG contribution through SEDPI?
To know the different payment channels to send in your PAGIBIG, see "Where can I deposit SRI joint venture payment?" in our FAQ. If you're a new member or have unsettled fees, you must settle MEM and SEDPI Coop share first before you can avail the free remittance assistance for PAGIBIG/MP2. Once you have made the deposit, upload the receipt on your SEDPI KSO dashboard. 1. On the Menu, select "Deposit" 2. On the Deposit page, click "Inform Deposit." 3. Provide deposit details. 4. Upload your receipt. 5. Click "Submit." A notification confirms your submission. 6. View List of Deposits to check status of deposit transaction. 7. Your deposit will be verified within 14 business days. Once your deposit has been validated, you need to request for a withdrawal from My Wallet to PAGIBIG. Please check "How do I withdraw from wallet to SSS/Pag-IBIG?"
