Course Objectives:

  • Describe the key management functions—planning, organizing, leading, and controlling—in microfinance branch operations. 
  • Explain effective supervision practices that enhance accountability, staff performance, and institutional success. 
  • Identify best practices in conflict resolution, customer service, and team management for improved branch operations. 
  • Calculate delinquency costs and analyze financial impacts to strengthen portfolio quality and branch sustainability. 
  • Apply internal control measures to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and improve operational efficiency. 

Course Description:

This course equips branch managers with essential skills in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling microfinance operations. Participants will explore conflict resolution, customer service, delinquency cost management, team supervision, and internal controls to enhance branch efficiency, staff performance, and financial sustainability in microfinance institutions.
